In-House Diagnostics

Fast, Accurate Answers When You Need them Most

At Best Care Animal Hospital, we have state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that enables us to monitor our patients’ ongoing health and diagnose a wide range of injuries and diseases. While some veterinarians have to refer their patients to other facilities or send their samples to outside laboratories, we provide many services in-house to make getting your pet the care they need more accessible and convenient. For in-house diagnostics for pets in Spring, Texas, and the surrounding areas, you’ve come to the right place!

Our Diagnostic Capabilities

Our in-house laboratory enables us to process blood, urine, and fecal samples. We perform these types of tests to monitor our patients’ baseline values as a part of routine care, check for parasites, assess organ function, and much, much more. In many cases, running lab work is our first course of action when a patient has an undiagnosed problem. And thanks to our in-house laboratory, we can obtain fast, accurate results.

When we need to peer inside our patients’ bodies to assess injuries or examine internal organs, we rely on radiography (x-ray) equipment. We take x-rays to check pregnancies and examine pets’ teeth, too. Modern digital x-rays are fast and expose pets to very little radiation. Our own Dr. Jimenez is even certified in PennHIP radiographs.
