Meet the Doctor

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia, my journey to becoming a veterinarian began with a profound love for animals instilled in me from a young age. It was a visit to a veterinary college with a friend that ignited my passion and set me on the path to fulfilling my dream of healing and caring for animals.

After graduating from 'La Universidad de La Salle', one of Colombia's esteemed veterinary schools, in 1990, I embarked on a journey to expand my horizons. I sought to validate my profession in the United States, where I eventually became licensed in two states—Alabama and Texas. Over the past 30 years, I've dedicated myself to providing exemplary veterinary care, specializing in orthopedic surgery and preventive medicine.

Each day in my practice is a testament to my unwavering commitment to my patients. Whether it's keeping pets healthy through preventive care or performing intricate surgeries to restore their well-being, I approach every case with compassion, expertise, and the firm belief that I've been entrusted with a special gift to heal and nurture animals. 

Beyond the clinic, my world revolves around my cherished family. Blessed with a loving wife and two incredible children, Alexa and Eduardo II, our home is filled with laughter, love, and shared experiences. From cooking together to cheering on our favorite soccer teams, we find joy in each other's company and treasure the moments we spend as a family.

In my free time, you'll often find me on the soccer field, a lifelong passion that still brings me immense joy. I'm an avid sports enthusiast, following my national team with fervor and indulging in friendly debates about the latest matches. Staying active is important to me, and my wife and I make it a priority to hit the gym together several times a week before starting our day. 

Music is another essential part of our lives, providing the soundtrack to our daily routines and serving as a source of relaxation and enjoyment. And when the weekend arrives, there's nothing like hitting the dance floor with my wife, letting loose and embracing the rhythm of life.

In everything I do, whether it's tending to my patients, spending time with my family, or pursuing my hobbies, I strive to live each day with purpose, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the blessings that surround me.
